About this Event
Your Orientation Leader will provide you a student perspective on being successful in the classroom. Bring your class schedules with you (on your phone or a hard copy!) and we will walk your classes, introduce you to campus resources, and prepare you to achieve in your academic discipline. This session will cover all you need to know about finding resources, getting support in and out of the classroom, and learn how our students navigate life at Pitt-Johnstown with regard to academic affairs.
You will interact with the Library Staff, check out the Academic Resource Center, and also connect with Handshake so you are able to connect with internships when the time is right!
This session has a lot of info and really helps you understand how academic life is different in college than in high school- can't wait to help answer your questions!
