The Pitt-Greensburg Theatre Company will present two live performances of its spring 2021 production of Dark Hamlet, an adaption of Shakespeare's Hamlet that was written by Stephen A. Schrum. Admission is free to the performances, which will be broadcast via Zoom.

Dark Hamlet, described as a "morphine dream," promises to be illuminating for those curious about Hamlet, the play, and the character. The play also brings together current students and alumni for the performance.

Schrum advises that the adaptation will not be for Shakespeare purists as much of the text will be missing, and only about one-sixth will remain.
