As part of the Latinx Film Series, the Academic Village presents La Mission (2010), a film that stars Benjamin Bratt as a macho ex-convict in San Franciso who has difficulty accepting the fact that his only son (Jeremy Ray Valdez) is gay. Dr. Silvina Orsatti will facilitate the discussion.
