Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in the American Red Cross blood drive set for March 31. 

Call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767)  or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter BLUE&GOLD to schedule an appointment.

To ensure the safety of the blood supplies, donors, recipients, volunteers, and staff, the American Red Cross asks donors to do the following.

Please wait 28 days before donating blood if:

• you have been diagnosed with COVID-19;
• have had contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 or is suspected to have it; or
• have traveled outside of the country.

If you have been able to get the COVID-19 vaccine, there is typically no deferral time as long as you are symptom-free and feeling well at the time of your donation. Please bring your vaccination card with you and/or know the name of your vaccine manufacturer.
