The Joan Chambers Concert Series opens with a performance by tenor Fran Daniel Laucerica, who has been praised for his clarity, agility, and musical versatility as a rising star on the operatic and concert stages. He has been recognized for his broad repertoire that spans from Bach, Gluck, and Rossini to contemporary works. 

A frequent performer with the Pittsburgh Opera, Opera Philadelphia, Washington Concert Opera, and Opera Omaha, Laurerica also is an accomplished soloist.
