Pitt-Greensburg will host an American Red Cross Blood Drive on March 26. During March, the American Red Cross will provide free A1C testing on all successful blood donations. The hemoglobin A1C test is a simple blood test used to diagnose prediabetes or diabetes.

There is a shortage of blood products, and the  American Red Cross encourages anyone eligible to donate to please consider scheduling an appointment at 1-800-733-2767. You may also visit www.redcrossblodd.org and enter the sponsor keyword HAIL2PITT. Walk-ins are welcome but may have a longer wait time.
