Beginning April 13, Pitt AIPowerUp, will be offered free to all students, faculty, and staff. The course offers ten pragmatic modules, each focused on a different aspect of the application of AI in science. The first three modules are required: AI Basics; Literature Search; and Writing & Science Publications. The next four modules can be selected from: Presentations; Teaching; Data Science; Programming and Math; Research Proposals; Administrative Grants; and Job Searching.   

Pitt AIPowerUp focuses on the platform of Perplexity, but skills learned in the course will be transferable to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Deep Seek.
