The Department of Studio Arts is pleased to announce our first Spring Perspectives talk with Alli Lemon.

Alli Lemon (she/they) is a multi-disciplinary artist living in Pittsburgh, PA. Originally from Memphis, TN, she received a BFA from the University of Memphis before moving to Colorado where she earned an MFA from the University of Colorado at Boulder. In 2015, she was a Yale Norfolk Summer Fellow. She has served as an adjunct instructor of art at CU Boulder and the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design and currently teaches at both Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh.

Through drawing, painting, photography, and installation, Lemon's work explores a nomad's relationship to place. In addition to her practice, Lemon runs a mobile, miniature gallery--Almost Gallery--curating monthly exhibitions of local and national artists.
