DESCRIPTION:The Pennsylvania One Health Consortium invites individuals conc
 erned with the need to improve the short- and long-term health of humans\,
  domestic animals\, wildlife\, cultivated and wild plants\, soils\, and/or
  ecosystems to join this year's annual meeting.\n\nThe meeting will begin 
 with a gathering and poster session from 5:00 to 7:30 PM on June 25th. Jun
 e 26th will be a day filled with lectures\, panel presentations and discus
 sions featuring a range of accomplished One Health experts. The morning of
  June 27th will be devoted to development of a strategic roadmap for curre
 nt and new members.\n\nRegistration is required and will be available on s
 ite.\n\nPosters are encouraged but not required from established professio
 nals\, postdocs\, and graduate students. Undergraduate students who wish t
 o attend are required to present a poster that illustrates their One Healt
 h-relevant research or stewardship methods and findings. Provide relevant 
 information when you register. \n\nRegistered attendees will be eligible f

 nOne Health is an integrated\, unifying approach that aims to sustainably 
 balance and optimize the health of people\, animals and ecosystems.  It re
 cognizes the health of humans\, domestic and wild animals\, plants\, and t
 he wider environment (including ecosystems) are closely linked and inter-d
 ependent.  The approach mobilizes multiple sectors\, disciplines and commu
 nities at varying levels of society to work together to foster well-being 
 and tackle threats to health and ecosystems\, while addressing the collect
 ive need for clean water\, energy and air\, safe and nutritious food\, tak
 ing action on climate changes and contributing to sustainable development.
   \n\nThis definition was adopted by the Food and Agriculture Organization
  of the United Nations (FAO)\, the World Organisation for Animal Health (O
 IE)\, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the World Health
  Organization (WHO) in 2021.\n\nLodging\n\nAccommodations are available 
 at the nearby Staybridge Suites\, and a 10% discount is offered to those w
