December's topic: Who Needs Cancer Rehabilitation? Characterizing Function and Impairment in Survivors
Presented by: Sean Smith, MD
Dr. Sean Smith is a Professor in the University of Michigan Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and works in the Rogel Cancer Center Cancer Rehabilitation program, with a clinical emphasis on restoring function and reducing symptom burden in patients with a history of cancer. He has served on editorial boards of the Journal of Clinical Oncology, and Supportive Care in Cancer and currently co-chairs the AAPM&R’s Cancer Rehabilitation BOLD initiative and is a member of the ASCO Cancer Control Impact Committee. His research emphasis is the assessment of and interventions to enhance function in cancer patients.
