Join the Department of PM&R for an invited lecture in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. Topics will be of interest to our Residents, Fellows, and Post-docs, but the event is open to trainees and faculty of all departments.
Optimizing Outcomes for Critically Ill Children: Rehabilitation Across the Continuum of Care
Presented by: Jessica M. Jarvis PhD, MT-BC
Dr. Jessica Jarvis is an Assistant Professor and health services researcher in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Informed by her clinical practice as a music therapist and driven by her conviction that every child deserves the opportunity to achieve their best health and functioning, her program of research integrates quantitative, qualitative, and human-centered approaches to assure equitable access to effective pediatric rehabilitation services across the care continuum.
