“solidarity & teaching” with Hana Dinku
September 24 | 4 – 5:30 p.m. ET

Drawing on June Jordan’s experience of isolation and attack from within feminist circles for her pro-Palestinian stance and work, we will consider how to build meaningful pedagogical solidarities in similar contemporary contexts.

“encampments & classrooms” with Ujju Aggarwal & Sabina Vaught
October 23 | 4 – 5:30 p.m. ET

Basel Al-Araj’s “Live Like a Porcupine, Fight Like a Flea” will guide our workshop on what we might learn from the long history of the encampment and its liberatory struggle through practices of self-determined study. We will consider how we might apply these traditions to our classrooms.

“sophicide, scholasticide & how we teach” with Amanda Soto & Sabina Vaught
December 4 | 7 – 8:30 p.m. ET

Focusing on the Palestinian feminist collective’s work, we will explore a set of relational sensibilities by asking ourselves: What does it mean to teach from the seat of empire?
