Artists of all skill levels are invited to explore sketching at this unique open studio session.

Construct a still life together using a variety of objects from the C4C’s collection, then experiment with lighting using C4C: The Understory’s stage lights. Once the composition and mood are set, we’ll play some chill music and set you loose to sketch and interpret the scene in your own style. 

Our facilitator will be available to help answer questions and give feedback and guidance. Basic materials (paper, pencils, erasers) will be provided, but feel free to bring your own preferred tools if you like.

Make sure to come at 5 p.m. if you want to participate in setup; otherwise, you’re welcome to come a little later to draw what’s been arranged. Space is limited, so be sure to register either way!
