What’s an open mic?
It’s a fun, relaxed event where anyone can take the stage, no auditions or experience required. Just sign up for a five-minute slot and share your creativity. Whether you're a seasoned performer or trying something for the first time, this is your space and your night.

What can you do?

  • Perform spoken word or poetry.
  • Sing and/or play an instrument: We have a guitar and keyboard, or bring your own anything!
  • Show off a dance routine.
  • Try out a skit or monologue.
  • Do something totally original: All performance genres are welcome.

Why should you come?

  • To perform or support your friends, or meet new ones
  • To connect with new voices and talents on campus
  • To vibe with a supportive creative community

C4C open mic nights are open to all Pitt students, staff, and faculty. Registration welcome, but not required!
