About this Event
Gregg Robbins-Welty, MD, MS
Chief Resident of the Combined Residency Training Program in Internal Medicine-Psychiatry
Duke University Medical Center
Abstract: Imagine stabilizing a young woman from her 101st Benadryl overdose—an act of self-harm she has repeated countless times. She leaves each time, only to return with the same crisis. In this session, Dr. Robbins-Welty will discuss the ethical issues of palliative psychiatry in the setting of chronic self-harm.
Continuing medical education credit will be available for those in attendance.
