During this interactive session, faculty will learn how to prepare for and guide trainees through difficult conversations. In a large group setting, faculty will review the basics of giving difficult news and learn some techniques for helping learners with this skillset in real time. In a small group setting, faculty will learn specific steps for coaching trainees by reviewing a demo case and discussing it with a faculty facilitator. Note: there will be no role play!
