First-generation college students face unique challenges that can impact their success in higher education. Simultaneously, these students have vast potential and often emerge as leaders both in higher education and beyond. This workshop will guide participants in discussing the complex identities of first-generation students, the challenges these students often face, and strategies for supporting them in their higher education journey.
