K awards, or the NIH’s Mentored Career Development Awards, are the NIH’s most common mechanism for supporting early career investigators. Join us as Pitt faculty with extensive study section experience will review applications as part of a mock K study section. During this session, led by Dr. Michael Gold, you will be able to not only observe what a study section is like, but to also receive inside information regarding the study section review process. If you didn't attend the "Know Your K" session, view the recording on the OACD’s website in advance of this session, then attend this program to take a closer look at the workings of a study section.
