Spotlight: Mixed Reality in Higher Ed Teaching

Drew Davidson, is a professor, producer, and player of interactive media. He is the director and teaching professor of the Entertainment Technology Center (ETC) at Carnegie Mellon University. This presentation will provide an overview of the integration of mixed reality (Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality) in higher education teaching and learning. Current ETC AR/VR projects will be highlighted in a presentation geared toward an audience that may or may not have familiarity or experience with mixed reality technology. Attendees will have an opportunity for Questions and Answer with the presenters.

Spotlight: Teaching and Learning is a new series of short talks that focus on important trends in teaching, learning, and technology. Please visit the University of Center for Teaching and Learning for more information and upcoming events.
