Students interact with information and news in a variety of ways, including through their peers, professors, and social media. How do we prepare them for the responsible use of this information as engaged citizens? This workshop will demonstrate methods for incorporating information and news evaluation in the classroom, through research assignments, and by using technology. This is a joint presentation between the Teaching Center and the ULS. A light lunch will be served.
