A talk by Meredith Conti entitled, "Wits Astray and Minds' O'erthrown: Astray and Minds' O'erthrown: Gendered Performances of Madness at London's Lyceum Theatre, 1878-1899"

Meredith Conti is an assistant professor of theatre at the University at Buffalo, SUNY and a historian of nineteenth-century theatre and culture in the United States and Britain.  She received her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Theatre History and Performance Studies at the University of Pittsburgh, where she was named an Andrew Mellon Pre-Doctoral Fellow.
