Page B. Pennell, MD—Henry B. Higman Professor of Neurology and chair of the Department of Neurology—and Costas Hadjipanayis, MD, PhD—professor of neurosurgery, executive vice-chair of the Department of Neurosurgery, and director of the UPMC Center for Image-Guided Neurosurgery—provide the inaugural lectures for introductory seminar series.
Dr. Pennell will present on "Identifying and Closing the Gaps: Evidence-based Treatment of Epilepsy during Pregnancy" while Dr. Hadjipanayis will present on "Fluorescence-Guided Surgery for High-Grade Gliomas and Intraoperative Photodynamic Therapy: A New Paradigm."
