Free, informative workshop

Join the Office for Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion for a free, informative, fast-paced workshop on how to mediate and resolve common types of workplace conflicts.

During two, four-hour sessions, we’ll cover topics such as:

  • Common causes of workplace conflicts, including personality clashes, miscommunication, competition for resources, power imbalances, perception
  • Real-life examples of workplace conflicts
  • The role of mediation in resolving workplace conflicts
  • An introduction to the mediation process
  • An explanation of the benefits of mediation in the workplace

We’ll also discuss key skills for mediators in the workplace, ethics and best practices in mediation, and practice some different scenarios.

Online and in-person

Light refreshments will be available for people who attend the in-person sessions. Space is limited.
