This lecture is part of the Endocrine University-Wide Conference series. This week's speaker is Endocrine Division Chief Erin E. Kershaw, MD.
By the end of the lecture, the audience will be able to:
1. Understand the pathophysiology and characteristics
of complex dyslipidemias in diabetes mellitus (DM).
2. Review the 2018 multi-society guidelines on
management of blood cholesterol - strengths and
limitations as they related to complex dyslipidemias in
DM.
3. Review new/emerging data and therapies since the
2018 multi-society guidelines.
