People have used the simple combination of pigment and binder to create inks and paints for millennia, so why shouldn’t we? In this workshop, we explore a few different recipes for home ink-making using common household ingredients and equipment. We’ll also craft our very own calligraphy pens from recycled aluminum cans.
Special tools or ingredients required: gum arabic powder, empty aluminum drink can, sharp scissors, sandpaper
Personal safety equipment: cut-resistant gloves, safety goggles/glasses, respirator/face mask, apron
