Judith Helfand wrote and directed the 2020 documentary Love & Stuff, which shares her experience of her mother’s death while becoming a single mother herself at age 50. The film addresses issues of end-of-life decision-making, hospice care, mourning, motherhood, weight and body image, age and gender. Helfand will screen the film and discuss these issues and the making of the film with her audience.
