Ellen Jones is the author of Literature in Motion: Translating Multilingualism Across the Americas (Columbia University Press, 2022). Her literary translations from Spanish include Ave Barrera’s Restoration and The Forgery (co-translated with Robin Myers), Yásnaya Elena A. Gil’s This Mouth is Mine (Winner of a 2024 PEN Translates Award), and Bruno Lloret’s Nancy. Her critical writing has appeared in the TLS, the Los Angeles Review of Books, the Guardian, and elsewhere.
