Leading Change in Times of Uncertainty

*This program is geared toward Faculty, with a focus on the Health Sciences.

Are you feeling overwhelmed by the impending task of managing a post-pandemic workplace? Do you have a plan in place for how you will lead your team through these ongoing changes?

Join us for a unique opportunity to acquire crucial skills that faculty in the health sciences will need in order to successfully make these challenging adjustments.

The past year has shown us that change can be volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous. Strong leadership techniques are essential in order to navigate these shifting circumstances, but specific guidance is not always easy to come by.

In this highly interactive experience, we will present tools that you can use to increase your agility as a leader and to ensure that you and your team do not become burned out by the changes we are all facing.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Change Leadership
  • Building and Restoring Trust
  • Psychological Safety in the Workplace
  • Agile Leadership in Action
  • Empowering People and Teams through Decision Delegation

The program is suitable to all faculty, including those who have previously participated in the University of Pittsburgh Health Sciences Faculty Leadership Academy. No prior leadership training is required in order to attend or benefit!

Wednesday, May 19 at 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
