Laboratory Safety: Beyond Bloodborne Pathogens and Chemical Hygiene

The Clinical and Translational Science Institute's (CTSI) Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Center serves as a resource for researchers at the University of Pittsburgh. Our objective is to provide education so that you can learn to effectively recognize and avoid research misconduct and understand the resources that are available to support your research. During the Laboratory Safety: Beyond Bloodborne Pathogens and Chemical Hygiene  workshop February 2, case studies and EH&S resources to assist in assessing risk and developing safe research plans will be discussed. 

Presented by Molly S. Stitt-Fischer, PhD, CPH, CBSP, SM(NRCM), University Biosafety Officer and Alternate Responsible Official for Select Agents, Department of Environmental Health and Safety, University of Pittsburgh.
