Dr. Sonia Rupcic, currently a postdoctoral fellow at Brown’s Population Studies and Training Center and a Visiting Scholar in GSWS, will offer a public lecture about changes in the post-apartheid treatment of sexual violence in South Africa, analyzing the complex factors involved in moving it into legal/carceral contexts.
