About this Event
The Pitt CTSI Community PARTner's July 2022 health page and Lunch and Learn session will focus on sickle cell disease, including conversation around stress’ impact on sickle cell pain and pain management technologies. We will focus on health equity and health disparities including what causes them and what can be done to reduce them. Available resources, engagement opportunities, and action steps to take charge of your health will also be a highlight.
Join us on July 14th for a lunch hour discussion with Dr. Charles Jonassaint, Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh and Cassandra Trimnell, Founder and Executive Director of Sickle Cell 101.
As always, this space will be one of dialogue, resources, and the dissemination of relevant health education.
