
The International Society of Nurses in Genetics (ISONG) is hosting its first regional meeting at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing.
In keeping with the mission of ISONG to foster scientific discovery and professional growth in human genetics and genomics, the focus of this 1 ½ day regional meeting, co-sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing, is to provide a forum for clinical and research nurses to increase their knowledge of genetics and genomics. Topics will include pharmacogenomics, symptom science, legal and ethical issues, targeted therapies, genetic literacy, and patient population specific talks.
Keynote speaker: Yvette P. Conley, PhD, FANN
Registration is online; 8.5 contact hours are awarded. The discounted Pitt faculty rate is $135, and the full-time student rate is $95.
