Jasper Evans, an investigative cyber intelligence analyst, will lead this intro-level workshop on data journalism. The workshop will provide students with an overview of data journalism, its goals, and the mechanics of data journalism reporting. The workshop will examine the development of a data journalism story from start to finish and provide students with instruction on how to construct a similar process for stories of their own. This event hosted by The Writing Program in the Department of English, in celebration of Sunshine Week 2026.
