About this Event
Scalar is an open-source platform for digital authoring and publishing long-form, media-rich scholarship. With this tool, you can assemble media from multiple sources and juxtapose them with your own writing in a variety of ways—with minimal technical expertise required. This online workshop will introduce Scalar and how it works, offer examples of different uses of the platform, and walk participants through the fundamentals of creating a Scalar site in hands-on activities.
