During this informal workshop, we'll learn basic variations of Japanese stab binding and make three small soft cover notebooks using this elegant and beginner-friendly binding technique. No previous bookbinding experience necessary!
Required materials: 20 pages of paper (for instance, 6'' x 5’’), ruler, pencil, thread, needle, awl (or thumbtack), scrap paper, and something to protect your table (cutting mat, cutting board, cardboard, etc.)
Optional materials: 6 sheets of ornamental paper or colored paper for covers, paper or binder clips.
