International Pathways to the Pitt School of Education

Do you have an interest in international education? Come attend the first International Brown Bag Series of the semester, hosted by the Institute for International Studies in Education (IISE) and co-sponsored by the Admissions and Enrollment Services (AES), Marketing and Communications, and Council for Graduate Students in Education (CGSE) at the Pitt School of Education.

All are welcome! Join this informal gathering to share your experiences and learn about opportunities to engage with the international community at Pitt. The event will be facilitated by Maureen Porter, IISE Associate Director and faculty member, and Wesley Vaina, Director of Admissions and Enrollment.

IISE Brown Bags offer an informal opportunity for all students, faculty, staff, alumni, visiting scholars, and friends to gather and freely discuss topics of global consequence and international significance. Most have a theme, host, or special guest who will serve as a catalyst for US and international participants to share their own experiences, scholarly life, career lessons, and questions. Look for sessions this year that will be hosted by the working groups on fiscal prudence, global gender policies, language policies, indigenous education, and internationalization of higher education.

Date: Tuesday, Oct 19th, 2021
Time: 11:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m (Eastern Time)
