Inter-Faith Forward: Building New Bridges Together

Join Emiola Jay Oriola, Program Manager for the Office of Interfaith, and his guests Nathaniel Carter, Founder and Director of This Generation Connect; Dr. Ahmed Ghuman, Staff Psychologist and Interim Training Director at the University Counseling Center; and Raja Sooriamurthi, Professor of Information Systems at Carnegie Mellon University and a part of the Sri Venkateswara Temple Vedanta, as they discuss with the Pitt community:

Step Into My Shoes: The Journey of our Neighbors – Fighting for Justice!”

To gain a deeper understanding of our neighbor’s journey, we must try not to simply learn about their path, but to learn about their steps. Everyone has a frame around the picture we have of them, a perspective behind every experience, context behind content, and a story behind their unique journey. Join us as we step into the shoes and learn about the journey of our diverse neighbors from various backgrounds, beliefs, faiths, philosophies, and worldviews by hearing their stories and experiences!
