mHealth (“mobile health”) has offered a vital technological avenue for innovation in public health services. This interactive webinar will define and contextualize mHealth’s potential applicability to public health agencies’ services delivery efforts, through the lens of the 10 Essential Public Health Services. The webinar will also characterize potential barriers, facilitators, and opportunities for integration of mHealth into public health practice.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • define the term mHealth;
  • describe at least two of the 10 Essential Public Health Services that can benefit from integration of mHealth technology; and
  • describe at least one potential barrier and one potential facilitator for public health agencies with regard to integration of mHealth into their population health services delivery efforts.
