Dr. Lopez is currently a Postdoctoral Associate, Behavioral and Community Health Sciences and Postdoctoral Associate, Infectious Diseases and Microbiology. Dr. Lopez is the first Latinx PhD graduate at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Social Work and founder of the first Latinx graduate student organization (LAGOS) at Pitt.
Dr. Lopez will present: "Reflections from the Ivory Tower; On Being the First Latinx PhD at the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work and a Gay Man of Color in Academia". A question and answer period will follow.
