Provost's Diversity Institute for Faculty Development

We hope to consider the following as a part of the session:

1. What are the central considerations of disability justice? Why is disability justice an urgent consideration in higher education?

2. What should we consider as we imagine disability futures in higher education?

  • How do we create classrooms that are grounded in the practices of disability justice?

Guest Facilitator: Lydia X. Z. Brown, Founding Executive Director of The Autistic People of Color Fund

Registration for this session is open to full- and part-time faculty affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh. The institute welcomes faculty from external institutions in the Pittsburgh region.
