The Institute for International Studies in Education (IISE), co-sponsored by the Center for African Studies, will host an international symposium, featuring our guest visiting scholar Dr. Meshesha Make, presenting Language, culture and wisdom and Ethiopia.
The symposium will take place on November 10, 2022 at 3-4 pm at Posvar Hall 5804 in a hybrid mode. Both in-person and virtual attendance need to register first.
Dr. Meshesha has been with Pitt family since 2017 when the UCIS faculty and students worked on a Fulbright Hays Group Projects in Ethiopia. The project continued and has developed into a sustainable cross-cultural partnership between Pitt UCIS and Dr. Mashesha’s affiliates. See the flyer for details and registration.
