This lecture is part of the Endocrine University-Wide Conference series. This week's speaker is Andrew F. Stewart, MD
Objectives for this lecture are:
1. To understand that beta cell deficiency underlies both common forms of diabetes;
2. to learn that human beta cell regenerative drug approaches are now possible; and
3. to understand the challenges that lie ahead in bringing this to people with diabetes.
