Dr. Sirry Alang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Human Development. She earned her Ph.D. in Health Services Research, Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. She also obtained an M.A. in Sociology from Lehigh University and a B.Sc. in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Buea in Cameroon. Dr. Alang is a medical sociologist and a health services researcher interested in understanding and eliminating health inequities.
