HIV-Associated Lung Disease: From Pneumocystis to the Microbiome

Alison Morris, MD, MS, UPMC Professor of Translational Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, professor of medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine, Department of Medicine, and professor of immunology and of clinical and translational science, will deliver a Provost’s Inaugural Lecture, “HIV-Associated Lung Disease: From Pneumocystis to the Microbiome,” at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, in Lecture Room 6, Scaife Hall.

The Provost’s Inaugural Lecture series invites University of Pittsburgh faculty members to give a lecture marking their recent appointments to endowed chairs. Dr. Morris’s research focuses on HIV-associated lung disease and the role of the microbiome in disease.    

A reception with light refreshments will follow the talk.
