The Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for the Health Sciences invites you to a series of lightning talks featuring papers that are among the most significant contributions published by Pitt Health Sciences researchers in 2024.

How were papers selected?

Health sciences leadership selected the papers based on citation metrics and other criteria including: 

  • Research that offers deep biological or practice-changing clinical insight  
  • Results that have sparked interest from media and the public 

Anantha Shekhar, senior vice chancellor for the health sciences and John and Gertrude Petersen Dean, School of Medicine, will introduce the session.
