"Quantum Information and Deep Learning for Turbulent Combustion Modeling & Simulation"

Dr. Peyman Givi is Distinguished Professor and James T. MacLeod Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science.This lecture is focused on modern developments in Quantum Computing, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning to tackle some of the most challenging problems in turbulent combustion. The computational approach is via Filtered Density Function, a method developed by Dr. Givi which provides one of the most systematic means of describing the unsteady evolution of reactive turbulence.

This lecture is sponsored by the Swanson School, PQI, Elsevier, and the journal Mechanics Research Communications.
