Games4SocialImpact returns to Pitt Friday October 1st through Sunday October 3rd! This game jam hosts teams of university students (1-5 people) as they develop a digital or analog game that will benefit individuals and/or communities. Participating jammers will relate their designs to a mystery theme revealed during the event opening. Prizes to be awarded in the following categories: Judges' Choice, Jammers' Choice, Best Technical Implementation, Best Narrative Design, and Best Visual Design. Jammers can be undergraduate or graduate Pitt students or college students from other institutions. Teams with interdisciplinary members are encouraged. Both indoor and tented outdoor work arenas will be provided at the School of Computing and Information building (135 N Bellefield Ave) for the duration of the jam; all participants must follow Pitt health and safety protocols.
