About this Event
135 North Bellefield Avenue
https://www.games4socialimpact.pitt.edu/Games4SocialImpact is a game jam where student teams each design and develop a game (table top, video game, alternate reality, etc.) all in a single weekend. Teams are supported by free food and faculty & industry practitioners as they work towards one of the prizes. This event is open to any university student 18 years of age or older. You DO NOT need to be a programmer to participate – we need artists, storytellers, sociologists, psychologists, historians, political scientists, and pretty much anyone who likes games. And, of course, programmers. Teams are made up of 1 to 5 members and you can find teammates at the start of the event.
Please let us know if you require an accommodation in order to participate in this event. Accommodations may include live captioning, ASL interpreters, and/or captioned media and accessible documents from recorded events. At least 5 days in advance is recommended.
