Graduate students have asked how they can develop academic connections across disciplines. In response, the Office of the Provost is supporting three or four proposals for graduate student-planned interdisciplinary workshops this year. These workshops must be organized by graduate students representing at least two or more schools and may feature talks, panel discussions, poster sessions, or external speakers.
In this Information Session, Vice Provost Nathan Urban will discuss the Request for Application (RFA) process and answer questions. Time will be allotted for students to pitch their ideas as an initial step in finding potential collaborators (especially outside their disciplines). Pizza will be served.
See the Request for Applications.
