Join us for the “Funding and the Future of Afrolatinidad” webinar!  The session is a featured panel at the Latinx Connect virtual conference and a part of the Afrolatinidad Studies Initiative.  
 

This panel focuses on Afrolatinidad programs and research that have secured crucial funding at the local, state, university, and federal levels. Scholars and practitioners in Afro-Latinx and Afro-Latin American studies share their passion and inspiration for projects on arts and equity, summer professional development, public exhibits, and archival research. They also reveal the challenges in garnering support for Afrolatinidad-centered engagement and offer key strategies for those interested in pursuing similar opportunities.
